One Academy is a Caribbean e-learning platform that brings live lessons, expert tutors and AI-powered tools to schools, teachers and students. I designed its student dashboard, tutor dashboard and school analytics, so every user can find what they need in a few clicks and learning stays the focus.

Project Overview
One Academy serves three very different groups: students who learn, tutors who teach and sell classes, and school administrators who track results. I designed the experience for all three, starting with the user flows and information structure. The work covered a role-based student home, a Skills Gap Center with secure test entry, UNA AI (a friendly study assistant with quick actions like “Quiz Me” and “Study Buddy”), a tutor dashboard for classes, enrollments and sales, and an analytics dashboard that turns test data into clear insights. A collapsible navigation and academic-period switcher tie it all together.
Challenge
The platform needed to feel playful and welcoming for young learners, and still dependable and data-rich for teachers and administrators. Each role needed its own priorities without three separate-looking products, and complex features like AI chat and skills analytics had to be understood at a glance. The challenge was one consistent design system that made every task feel simple, whoever was using it.

Results
The redesigned dashboards gave each user a clear starting point. Students get personalized recommendations and a direct path to test their skills. Tutors see enrollments, courses and sales in one view. Schools read performance through simple KPI cards, charts and a skill-by-skill breakdown. The design now supports a platform that has served over 150,000 learners and 101 high schools.
